NEW GUEST KIDS' EXPERIENCES
FOR KIDS 5-10 YEARS OLD
I leave it up to the discretion of the adult in their lives to decide whether each kid is able to sit (somewhat) still and participate in their Experience. My main priority is that the kids have a positive experience.*
I value kids’ input on their hair and like collaborating with them. I set them up to know how to care for and style their own hair.
KIDS WILL NOT HAVE TO SIT STILL IN THE CHAIR DURING THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE (they will have the freedom to move about during the Consultation, and Hands-on Styling).
[* I don’t mind helping those who have had a previous bad experience, or a fear of haircuts to get to where they enjoy the time. The experience will take priority over the haircut though, and the cost will remain the same, even if we are unable to achieve a refined cut.]

IMPORTANT: KIDS’ EXPERIENCES DO NOT INCLUDE DETANGLING. PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD IN WITH DETANGLED HAIR (a $30 Detangling Fee will be charged if kids come in needing detangled).
If your child has a lot of hair or needs Detoxing & Deep Conditioning instead of the regular Cleansing & Conditioning, then schedule an adult New Guest Experience to ensure the appropriate services and amount of time.

NEW GUEST CURLY KIDS EXPERIENCE
up to 1 hour 15 min $55
THIS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: a Consultation; a Curly Dry Cut; Cleansing & Conditioning; and a Hands-on Defining & Drying Session.
WE WILL DISCUSS: Curl/Scalp Health & Care; Product Recommendations; and a Simple Curl Routine.
HOW TO PREPARE/ARRIVE TO YOUR NEW GUEST CURLY KIDS' EXPERIENCE:
IMPORTANT: IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS PREPARATION, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO RESCHEDULE AND WILL BE CHARGED THE 20% CANCELLATION FEE. IF THERE IS TIME IN THE SCHEDULE, A PREP FEE OF $30 WILL BE CHARGED (+$30 FOR DETANGLING) AND THE HAIR WILL BE RESET BEFORE BEGINNING THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
COME WITH YOUR HAIR DETANGLED, DRY, AND IN ITS NATURAL STATE. IT NEEDS TO HAVE BEEN CLEANSED, CONDITIONED AND STYLED (product* is okay) WITH IT’S NATURAL MOVEMENT/CURLS INTACT (do the best you can) WITHIN THE LAST 48 HRS.
DON'T arrive with hair that has/or has had in it a ponytail, braid, bun, twist out, roller-set, perm-rod set, curl-former, etc. or any style that stretches or changes your hair's natural curl pattern.
DON'T brush, pick or comb your hair out.
DON'T style your hair with products that are excessively sticky or greasy/oily (for example: shea butter or coconut oil). Also, don’t use any products with heavy perfume or fragrance.
[IF YOUR NORMAL PRODUCTS ARE NOT EXCESSIVE IN THESE WAYS, THEN PLEASE FEEL FREE TO USE THEM.]

The EXPRESS Experience DOES NOT INCLUDE CLEANSING & CONDITIONING, so please have your child arrive with clean, detangled hair.
