ALL SERVICES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

If you feel the results of your service didn’t meet the expectations set forth in the consultation, please contact me. I do have a 7-day policy in which guests can come back for corrections (complimentary).

Policies for Online Booking and Payment:

 

You can book and adjust appointments online through my website audramcavaddy.com. To book services, Card information is required from all New Guests, but it will not be charged until after your services have been performed (except for situations where the 20% cancellation fee is applicable). There will be the option to not use the card on file and instead use another form of payment. All major credit and debit cards are accepted, as well as cash payments.

I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.

No-Show and Cancellation Policy:

 

You can cancel, reschedule or adjust your appointment online up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. I charge a 20% cancellation fee for any no-shows or non-emergency cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.

Policies for Hair Color Services:

All color services and pricing are customized-- exact pricing is discussed before the service begins, as well as what you can expect for maintenance. The health of your hair is very important to me.

 

I use Davines Conditioning Coloring and Lightening Systems with Permanent and Demi-Permanent offerings.

PATCH TEST: A small percentage of individuals can experience adverse reactions due to the application of hair color products. While rare, symptoms can include burning, redness, itching and/or swelling. Due to the variety of ingredients used in hair color products, these symptoms may occur even if you have had your hair colored in the past with no reaction. I can administer a “patch test” to determine if you will experience a reaction to hair coloring. This test must be administered 24 hours prior to your appointment for coloring services. You have the right to request a patch test prior to every service at no additional charge to you.

IF YOU REQUIRE A CORRECTIVE COLOR SERVICE:

All Corrective Color Services Require Booking a Complimentary Consultation first.

● More time and expertise is required than with a standard color service.

● Reconstructive treatments may be needed prior to color services.

● Multiple visits will likely be required to achieve your desired color.

● Each subsequent visit will be a separate color service with separate charges applied.

● Specific products/treatments may be recommended to use at home to help guarantee color correction results.

 

BEFORE EACH COLOR SERVICE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN INFORMED CONSENT FORM. 

Policies for Waxing Services:

As a licensed professional, I follow all sanitation laws and codes when performing facial waxing services (and all services). My main concern is the health of your skin. My wax temperatures remain low and I have the option of hard wax for sensitive skin. I will not wax over the same spot twice and will tweeze for clean up of stubborn hair.

 

EVERY GUEST RECEIVING A WAXING SERVICE WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN UP-TO-DATE  Waxing Consent Form ON FILE. You are required to inform Audra McAvaddy of any changes or updates to this form.

Aftercare:  I recommend keeping the waxed areas clean (free from makeup) and try not to touch them for at least 30 minutes after waxing. This will lessen the chances of adverse reactions and give the skin time to recover.

Product Return Policy:

Products and Items Purchased are Non-Refundable. Purchased Products that have 75% or more remaining, may be returned and EXCHANGED FOR OTHER PRODUCT that fits your needs better, OR EXCHANGED FOR A CREDIT towards future product purchases.

Curly Hair Prep Policy:

IMPORTANT: IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS PREPARATION, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO RESCHEDULE AND WILL BE CHARGED THE 20% CANCELLATION FEE. IF THERE IS TIME IN THE SCHEDULE, A PREP FEE OF $30 WILL BE CHARGED (+$30 FOR DETANGLING) AND THE HAIR WILL BE RESET BEFORE BEGINNING THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.

COME WITH YOUR HAIR DETANGLED, DRY, AND IN ITS NATURAL STATE. IT NEEDS TO HAVE BEEN CLEANSED, CONDITIONED AND STYLED (product* is okay) WITH IT’S NATURAL MOVEMENT/CURLS INTACT (do the best you can) WITHIN THE LAST 48 HRS. 

 

DON'T arrive with hair that has/or has had in it a ponytail, braid, bun, twist out, roller-set, perm-rod set, curl-former, etc. or any style that stretches or changes your hair's natural curl pattern.

 

DON'T brush, pick or comb your hair out.

DON'T style your hair with products that are excessively sticky or greasy/oily (for example: shea butter or coconut oil). Also, don’t use any products with heavy perfume or fragrance.

Policies for Kids' Services:

 

I leave it up to the discretion of the adult in their lives to decide whether each kid is able to sit (somewhat) still and participate in their Service. My main priority is that the kids have a positive experience.

 

A POSITIVE SALON EXPERIENCE takes priority over the haircut--- the cost will remain the same, even if we are unable to achieve a refined cut.

 

IMPORTANT: KIDS’ HAIRCUTS DO NOT INCLUDE DETANGLING. PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD IN WITH DETANGLED HAIR (a $30 Detangling Fee will be charged if kids come in needing detangled). 

 

If your child has a lot of hair or needs Detoxing & Deep Conditioning instead of the regular Cleansing & Conditioning, then schedule an adult Haircut to ensure the appropriate services and  amount of time.
