THIS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: an In-Depth Consultation; a Curly Dry Cut; a Hair & Scalp Detox; followed by a Deep Conditioning Treatment; a Hands-on Defining & Drying Session; and a Refining Cut.
WE WILL DISCUSS: Your Hair History; Your Hair Elements; Curl/Scalp Health & Care; Product/Tool Recommendations; and a Customized Curl Routine.
At your NEW GUEST EXPERIENCE we can Consult & Schedule any desired Color Services.
HOW TO PREPARE/ARRIVE TO YOUR NEW GUEST CURLY EXPERIENCE:
IMPORTANT: IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS PREPARATION, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO RESCHEDULE AND WILL BE CHARGED THE 20% CANCELLATION FEE. IF THERE IS TIME IN THE SCHEDULE, A PREP FEE OF $30 WILL BE CHARGED (+$30 FOR DETANGLING) AND THE HAIR WILL BE RESET BEFORE BEGINNING THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
COME WITH YOUR HAIR DETANGLED, DRY, AND IN ITS NATURAL STATE. IT NEEDS TO HAVE BEEN CLEANSED, CONDITIONED AND STYLED (product* is okay) WITH IT’S NATURAL MOVEMENT/CURLS INTACT (do the best you can) WITHIN THE LAST 48 HRS.
DON'T arrive with hair that has/or has had in it a ponytail, braid, bun, twist out, roller-set, perm-rod set, curl-former, etc. or any style that stretches or changes your hair's natural curl pattern.
DON'T brush, pick or comb your hair out.
DON'T style your hair with products that are excessively sticky or greasy/oily (for example: shea butter or coconut oil). Also, don’t use any products with heavy perfume or fragrance.

My Curly Cutting Techniques are for all textures from wavy to kinky curly. I shape your hair curl by curl while your hair is dry and in its natural state. This works with its natural movement and shrinkage. It allows me to pay attention to where the hair will naturally sit and to customize the shape to any changes in curl pattern (which most people have). My cutting techniques also make your curls happier and encourage definition.
